Travel
The nearest airport is Athens International- from there you can either hire a car and drive (2.45 hours) or catch the ferry from Piraeus to Ermioni (2 hours), and then hire a car in Ermoni or take a taxi to Pigadia (20mins). You can also get the ferry from Piraeus to Hydra and then take a water taxi from there (there is a dock close to the main house)..

ACCOMODATION
There are nice looking air bnb’s & villas within walking distance in Pigadia, plus hotels in nearby Thermisia (10 mins drive) or Ermoni (20 mins drive).

There are also rooms at the local taverna which look quite cute and are probably cheap as chips- you have to call them:

In Pigadia & Thermisia there are a few tavernas but not much else ! For groceries, bars etc the nearest place is Ermoni.

Gifts are for grannies. Totally not necessary for you who are travelling to hang out with us by the sea. But if you do still want to gift something, we’re going to put any cash towards a beautiful kitchen table to replace the temporary one we’ve now had for four years, where we will eventually feed you all.
